Course overview
Over three days, this course introduces participants to the theory of negotiation and puts it into practice through simulations. It examines the procedures and considerations involved in preparing for a negotiation, and strategies for overcoming difficult emotions and tactics.
How it’s taught
Every participant receives a detailed manual that encourages them to reflect on their own approach throughout the course.
- 01
Demonstration of negotiation skills
Our coaches demonstrate foundational negotiation skills, and participants are free to join in and ask questions.
- 02
Video demonstration
Facilitators show recorded videos of live negotiations. These help participants apply negotiation skills, and to understand and critique how well different approaches work in reaching a settlement.
